A subtly textured unisex hat. This quick knit, needing just one 50g skein, makes a great gift knit and is also the perfect excuse to treat yourself to some luxurious yarn.

Medium: 56cm (22 in)

Circumference: 48cm (18.75 in) / 52cm (20.5 in)

Materials:
Eden Cottage Yarns Askham 4ply (4ply/Fingering; 70% baby alpaca, 30% silk; 200m/218yds per 50g skein)
Shade: Walnut; 1 x 50g skein
Eden Cottage Yarns Milburn 4ply (4ply/Fingering; 85% bluefaced leicester, 15% silk; 200m/218yds per 50g skein)
Shade: Damson; 1 x 50g skein

Needles and accessories:
2.75mm (US2) knitting needles suitable for working in the round; 80cm (24 in) for magic loop or 40cm (12 in) short circular and double pointed needles for crown decreases.

Gauge:
25sts x 45 rows in 10cm square in textured stitch in the round after blocking
