In the wild, sea stars live in many different saltwater environments. Now they can live on dry land in this squeezable knitted version, complete with a mouth on the back and eyespots at the tip of each arm. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Yarn Knit Picks Hawthorne Fingering Multi (80% superwash fine Highland wool, 20% polyamide (nylon); 357 yd 326 m/3 ½ oz 100 g): #26684 Fremont, 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Crafts Americana.
Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm): set of double pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Marker (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; polyester fiberfill; 3 chenille sticks about 15” long; small amount of red yarn for eyespots (optional).
