The wide, brightly colored stripes in this blanket bring to mind the festive traditional Mexican poncho.

Materials:
- Red Heart Super Saver medium (worsted) weight yarn (7 oz/364 yds/198g per skein): 1 skein each #579 pale plum, #718 shocking pink, #885 delft blue, #886 blue, #254 pumpkin, #256 carrot, #336 warm brown, #389 hunter green, #624 tea leaf and #672 spring green
- Size H/8/5mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
- Tapestry needle
