Two identical Star pieces are made and then stitched together. Each Star piece begins with five joined rounds, then five Points are worked in rows without turning (RS stays facing throughout).
Edging is added at end of section to outline Star shape.
First htr of each Round/Row is made using standing htr (see Special Abbreviation); to change colour, fasten off at the end of Round/Row, then join new yarn by working a standing htr in first st of new Round/Row. Sequins are added once Star is assembled.
