September Shawl
This design was created especially to celebrate the 9th Anniversary of the Longmont Yarn Shoppe in Colorado.
Crocheted with 2 hanks of hand-dyed sock yarn that reflect the September colors of the Colorado Rockies. The elaborate lace border depicts the colorful Aspen leaves.
Shawl is worked in a Chevron shape in V-st mesh that showcases the beautiful variegated hand-dyed yarn, then a 10 Row border is worked in a complimentary color using branching shell stitches and decreasing double crochet “leaves”.
Body of Shawl used approximately 340 yards and
Border of Shawl used approximately 391 yards.
Pattern is 7 pages long and includes detailed stitch charts for each element.
