The idea for these fingerless mittens came to me while knitting the “Leftie” shawlette by Martina Behm. I think they suit autumn very well…. keep you warm and remind you of falling leaves.

It is a quick knit and goes very well along with your “Leftie”. The beauty of the design is in the details. Especially the edging is very nice and hides the contrasting thread therefore there is no need for cutting the yarn between the stripes.
