This lovely shawl, designed by Anniken Allis, uses a typical Faroese construction, with a central wedge framed by two ‘wings’ which help the shawl to sit neatly on the shoulders. The project begins with a garter tab cast-on, and features an diamond lace pattern which forms scallops along the lower edge. Anniken’s design is knitted in Meadow, an exquisite laceweight yarn from The Fibre Co. which blends wool, silk, llama and linen fibres.
