Dark water, moonlit waves, and pohutukawa clinging to cliffsides. Selene captures wild coastlines at night – rich and textured – she’s a taste of wild abandon, flung around your shoulders.

A shallow triangular shawl that’s easy to wear and fun to knit, Selene uses playful colour tossed back and forth to keep your fingers entertained and your eyes happy. Simple lace adds gentle
movement, and a smooth i-cord finish frames the edge.

Designed to use two skeins of fingering-weight yarn, Selene sits comfortably on the shoulders or snuggles softly around the neck, wrapping you in the rhythm of the sea.

A lovely knit for yourself or a thoughtful gift for a beloved friend, the pattern includes both charts and written instructions and links to helpful tutorials, and is perfect for knitters who enjoy colour, whether you’re experienced or new to knitting shawls.
