Seeds and chains is a tiny v-neck cardigan that follows a menswear tradition with a flat seed stitch yoke and textured Italian chain eyelet bodice.

2 (2, 2, 3) skeins Madelinetosh’s Tosh DK 100% superwash merino wool; 225 yds/ 100 gm skein; shown in William Morris or approx 325 (375, 425, 500) yds/ 300 (350, 400, 450)m DK weight yarn
Size 6 US/ 4mm needles, or size to obtain gauge
5 buttons -- 3/8”/ 12mm diameter

GAUGE
22 sts and 28 rows = 4 inches/ 10cm in Italian Chain. Take time to check gauge.

CONSTRUCTION
Body is worked all-in-one piece from the bottom-up. Sleeves are worked separately from the bottom-up. After shoulders are bound off, front bands are continued, then sewn to back neck.
