Organic Cotton
Seedling is a machine washable organic cotton in both solid and handpainted colors. This yarn has the same wonderful texture and softness as Sprout but in a lighter weight. Seedling’s organic fiber is more robust and less stressed by chemicals than non-organic cotton, which increases its absorbency and color intensity.

Two hanks will make 8 coasters.

Needles
Set of four dpn in size US 5 (3.75 mm) or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge
20 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Circular Garter Stitch. Take time to save time, check your gauge.
Note: This gauge is a little tighter than Seedling’s recommended gauge to make the finished coaster as absorbent as possible. Correct gauge is not crucial – If slightly looser or tighter, your coaster will still work.
