This hat uses a very simple stitch pattern that mixes ribbing and seed stitch, but looks much more interesting than either. Worked in a solid-color yarn, this makes a good basic men’s hat, but it’s sized for the whole family and has both beanie and slouch options. It can be completed in just a few hours, and is a great first hat pattern!

This pattern is also available in the Textured Knit Hats Pattern Collection, along with the Bramble Hat and Bas Relief Hat, for $12.00.
