Pattern Notes
Kaftan is made from two long narrow Panels that drape over shoulders to form front and back of garment. Each Panel features two sections: a Lace Section worked in rows, which creates a long piece to run down centre of front/back, and a Body Section, which is joined to row-ends of Lace Section then worked back and forth in long rows. Turn after each row throughout.

Panels mirror one another and are joined according to Schematic 2: Kaftan Construction. Front Lace Triangle is made separately and joined to front opening where Panels split. Sleeves are also worked separately and joined to sts of Body Section on either side at armholes.
