The finished accessory weighs less than 250 grams ( 9 ounces) and is therefore light and airy. The cashmere, alpaca, and merino yarn combination however will provide exeptional warmth and a luxurious cozy feel. All you need are 5 balls rowan finest rare (beige) and 5 balls rowan finest glee (brown) and 3 yards contrasting color yarn for the Italian cast on. A circular knitting needle 4 mm/ 6 US about 24 inches long and 1 needlepoint needle to graft the Italian bind-off. Cable needle or stitch marker.
Gauge 4” x 4” = 22 st. x 23 rows, before blocking; 14 1/3 st. x 21 rows, after blocking.
You will also need a basic knowledge of the 2-color brioche stitch. The increase and decrease stitches are explained in the pattern. No matter if you like knitting by chart or by row instruction, both are included.
