We reknit one of our favorite neckwear pieces, Sedgwick, in 3 different yarns: Silk Blend, Milo, and Feliz. The sequence knitting pattern is so versatile that it beautifully shows off a range of yarns!
FINISHED SIZES
Cowl: 52” circumference and 8¼” high
Wrap: 16½” wide and 90” long
Scarf: 72” wide and 7½” high
MATERIALS
Cowl: SILK BLEND 1 sk each of A, B, and C; shown in 3014 Natural (A), 3025 Shale (B), and 3223 Plum (C)
Wrap: MILO 2 sks of MC, and 1 sk each of CC1 and CC2; shown in i7049 Cadaques (MC), i2220 Roma (CC1), and i2428 Nautilus (CC2)
Scarf: FELIZ 1 sk each of A and B; shown in Z2206 Mulberry (A) and Z9775 Marble (B)
US 6/4.25mm 32” circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
Waste yarn for provisional cast-on (cowl only)
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
22 sts and 44 rows = 4”/10cm in Broken Garter patterns, after blocking (see Notes).
NOTES
- When working in 2-row stripes, it is not necessary to cut the yarns between the stripes. Carry the unused color loosely along the selvedge until it is needed again.
