Named for the Galveston Historic Seawall, Seawall Socks are beautifully textured lace socks with a sweet scalloped cuff. Knit toeup, Seawall Socks are a fun knit complete with ribbing and lace. The sole of the foot is worked in simple Stockinette for a smooth under-foot fabric, and the 2x2 ribbing on the back of the leg gently hugs your calf while showcasing beautiful lace on the front. The lace pattern is uncomplicated but keeps your mind engaged in the stitching process.

Gauge: 35 sts and 50 rnds = 4”/ 10cm over Stockinette stitch.

Needles: US 0/ 2mm or size to obtain gauge, in DPNs or preferred sock needles.

Yarn: light fingering weight: 300 (325, 350, 375) yards/ 275 (298, 321, 344) meters.

These socks are knit from the toe up with an afterthought heel. The toe is created by knitting a flat rectangle then picking up sts around the edges to join in the round.
