I Originally wrote this pattern for Nordic Lites from the wooly West (a heavy lace weight) and it comes out more shawl sized in that yarn, but I love it in Alpaca Fino,too. It comes out more stole sized in this lighter lace weight. It has also been featured in Storey Publishing’s new book ‘Luxury One-Skein Wonders: 101 Small Indulgances’ in Alpaca Fino.

The Photo they took for the book is actually the ‘back’ side of the shawl, (it’s got nice back, though) & the first edition has an omission in a small upper right section of one of the charts.
