Seashell Pouch
This is a crocheted drawstring pouch inspired by seashells.
I was able to complete this piece to my liking.
I also love looking for shells on the beach, and when I was a child, I admired the beautiful shells that only seem to be found on beaches in faraway southern countries, so it makes me feel a little nostalgic.
At first, I was imagining that I could make a zipper pouch with the seashells I admired as a theme, but when I put the drawstring string through it, it turned out to be the best match!
A drawstring pouch that can be easily finished has been completed.
The white sample is crocheted with 100% linen yarn, and the blue work is crocheted with 100% cotton yarn.
Also, both pieces were crocheted with about fine, sport and light DK yarn and a 2.50mm(or C-2) crochet hook.
I am sorry that all the yarns used in the work have already been discontinued because I used yarns that I had in stock for a long time.
For reference, the white yarn is Gosyo Grace (Keito-Zakka Stores), and it was difficult to see if it was enough for one ball (if you have this yarn, please be careful).
The blue one is Daruma Cotton Crochet Large, and one ball is enough for this one.
In the pattern, “Grace” is listed as the yarn used.
The crocheted fabric is firm and keeps its shape to some extent, so it seems that cotton, which is softer than linen, will not be a problem.
Please crochet it with your favorite yarn and hide it in your bag.
This drawstring bag can be crocheted in a short time, but it’s not too short, and the shape is interesting, so I think it’s a good idea to crochet it and give it to someone.
No particularly difficult techniques are used, so feel free to try it!
