This pattern is for a pair of socks that is knit from the top (cuff) down on two circular needles, with an optional 12-inch needle. These socks feature a lace stitch that is fairly simple to knit and quite an unusual lace.

The directions are written for all four sizes: Small, Medium Large,and XL and are sized by gauge. Please adjust your yarn size if you are making the L or XL, so that they fit with the needles.

The pattern is both written and charted.

When looking at this pattern, please enlarge the stitch using Ravlery’s enlargement tool, so you can see the lace stitch more clearly.

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting and sock experience)

Note: This pattern is suitable for Beginner + knitters that have some experience with both lace and have some knowledge of sock knitting.
