Seagrove Coffee Cozy
by Jordynn Jack
This pattern is
available for free.
I made this little coffee cozy to go with a beautiful handmade ceramic coffee cup that I bought. I named the pattern Seagrove after the town in North Carolina--Seagrove calls itself the “handmade pottery capital of the United States.”
This coffee cozy is knit seamlessly, in the round, using dpns or the double circular method, and can be finished in an hour or even less.
The gauge doesn’t really matter for this pattern. As long as you are using worsted weight yarn (or even Aran would do) this should stretch to fit a standard travel coffee mug or cup.
Materials:
Size 8 needles - 2 24’ double circulars OR dpns
Small amount of worsted yarn (about 50-60 yards)
Needle for weaving in ends
Stitch marker
