Pattern Notes
Like all linen and cotton yarns, this yarn shrinks when machine washed and dried. The gauge stated is after machine washing and drying, to allow for this shrinkage. Make a generous swatch in the pattern stitch, then wash it with a normal load of laundry, just as you will for the finished tank. Measure your gauge and adjust hook size based on your washed swatch. This pattern is planned with expected shrinkage in mind. Don’t worry if your tank looks much too large while you are crocheting. If you matched the specified gauge with your washed swatch, your tank will be the correct size after you wash and dry it.
