From the pattern: These lace socks might look fancy, but they’re deceptively simple. A two-round lace pattern creates what looks like columns of scullers rowing down the length of your foot. These are knit from the cuff down with a typical heel flap and turn, but the gusset is placed in an unusual location: the bottom of the heel. The result is a slightly curved heel that hugs the foot.

This pattern features two sizes: a women’s medium (to fit 8 in./20 cm ankle circumference) and a women’s large (to fit 10 in./25.5 cm ankle circumference). The lace pattern is both written and charted.

You will need approximately 100g of fingering weight sock yarn to complete the socks; your actual yardage/meterage will depend on the length of your foot.
