Scrumptious Shrug
Wrap yourself in effortless style with the Scrumptious Shrug—a versatile, easy-to-wear layering piece with beautiful drape and texture. Constructed from a single large rectangle and finished with simple seams at the cuffs, this design is as satisfying to make as it is to wear.
Worked using a Scheepjes Whirl and coordinating Whirlette, the soft colour gradient flows seamlessly across the fabric, creating a striking yet wearable finish. A combination of front post trebles, crossed trebles, and clusters adds rich texture and visual interest throughout.
Designed for the intermediate crocheter, this pattern includes both written instructions (in UK terms) and helpful charts to guide stitch placement where needed.

Scrumptious Shrug- Pattern Notes
The shrug is made of one large rectangle, which is joined to create a short sleeve seam at each cuff.
Work is turned at the end of each row.
Begin with the Whirl, taking the yarn from the outside and working in towards the darkest shade. When you have used up all of the Whirl, move to the matching Whirlette.
Instructions in brackets are worked the number of times specified eg x3
Instructions marked by asterisks are repeated the number of times specified
Crossed tr - to create a clear X shape, I worked the second tr in front of the first tr made.
