This blanket is an absolute pleasure to make. It’s a serious no brainer which is what I love. Some people don’t love big projects but I’ve almost always got one on the go. It’s the project I turn to when I’m taking a break from my other crochet projects.

I used of mix of wool and acrylic blends for this blanket but always a fibre blend or 100% wool. Never 100% acrylic because I wanted wool to be present in each yarn so it all behaved well together.

Because it’s a scrap-gan I can’t be sure exactly of quantities because I used scraps but these are a few of the yarn brands I used for this blanket.

I also used random 8 ply, DK yarn or worsted weight yarns. It gives it an interesting texture and a lot of gorgeous drape.
