This dress begins with a provisional cast on. It offers the fit of bottom up with the total yarn usage benefit of top down.

The mix of garter, stockinette, and i-cord finishing leaves you plenty of room to play with color and use up stash. The completed piece is easy to get on and keeps outdoor play toasty and unhindered.

This garment is generously sized to work as an overdress. The longer you make it the longer it will fit!

Needles
4.5mm circular needles in the following lengths
2x 16” / 40cm
1x 24” / 60cm (or longer)
1 set double pointed needles

Gauge
After blocking:
19 sts and 34 rows to 4” / 10 cm in garter, knit flat
19 sts and 27 rows to 4” / 10 cm in stockinette, knit in the round
