This cable and rib scarf in two lengths (S/L) has plenty of texture to stand up to a colorful speckled yarn but also brings a solid or heathered yarn to life with its deep texture. Worked in one piece from point to point, the pattern may be repeated for allover interest or “rested” in the middle section by working in plain rib (as shown in sample). Add pompom trim (optional) for a lively finishing touch. A softly spun yarn will offer maximum drape and lush cable texture.
