a bright sweater with a school bus on the front. This comes as a kit from Mary Maxim and is done in Mellowspun grey, white and yellow with a bit of black. There are four skeins of grey, one of white and one of yellow. In a size four, there was plenty of left over yarn that may be turned into a hat to go with the sweater.

Mostly intarsia, but a bit of stranded colorwork for the fiddly bits as well. The chart is large and easy to follow.
The mellowspun yarn is very washable acrylic and therefore good for small children. The sleeves are knit from the shoulder down.
