Scarf
Pattern can be made into a scarf in wool or a table runner in cotton.
For a scarf 12 x 45 use any medium 2 or 3 ply yarn and size 3 knitting pins.
The runner, which measures about 16.5 x 53 inches takes about 12 balls of pearl cotton size 5 and is made with number 1 (2.5mm) knitting pins.
