Scarecrow Bear
He may be too cute to scare away any crows, but this Scarecrow Bear is just the right crochet project for fall.
Your PDF purchase includes written instructions with a photo tutorial. You’ll need the yarn colors pictured (worsted/aran weight), a size E/3.5mm crochet hook, a yarn needle, stuffing, 9mm safety eyes, 20mm doll joints (optional), and an intermediate crochet skill level (or give it a try if you’re an ambitious beginner!). The finished bear is about 7 3/4” tall when sitting, 11” when outstretched.

Each Crochet to Play pattern gives you all the instructions you’ll need to create toys that appeal to both kids and adults. I am a firm believer that children flourish with plenty of opportunities for creativity. When you give a child the toys you have handmade from these patterns, you are giving tools for story-telling, dramatic play, understanding character, and more!
Patterns are written in English using US crochet terminology and are meant for the intermediate crocheter.
