Scalloped Edging

The example is attached to a 16” hand towel.
The edging is constructed by first crocheting the mesh from one side to the other and then crocheting on top of the mesh the lace portion and then attaching the edging to the towel.
You will need:
225 yards of crochet cotton
1.65 mm hook (size 7)
scissors
needle
