Scallop Shell Curtain
Width: 20 (24, 28)“ 
Length: 15” (adjustable; be sure to plan for more yarn if making the curtain longer) 
Note: Two 20” curtains are shown.
MATERIALS 
Universal Yarn Garden 5 (100% Egyptian Giza Mercerized Cotton; 50 g/174 yds) 
• 500-58 Red – 2 (3, 4) balls per curtain; 
3 (5, 7) balls for 2 curtains 
Needle: US Size 5 (3.75 mm) straight or size needed to obtain gauge 
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers
GAUGE 
28 sts x 32 rows = 4” in St st 
Save time, check your gauge.
PATTERN NOTES 
The Top Sleeve is written to accommodate a dowel with a ¾“ diameter. If your curtain dowel is wider, be sure to work a longer Sleeve to fit the dowel you have.
