Notes
The cardigan is worked in one piece back and forth in rows from the bottom up. The sleeves are worked back and forth in rows separately, and then joined to body and the stockinette stitch yoke is worked in one piece.
Slip the first stitch of every row (knitwise with yarn in back on right-side rows and purlwise with yarn in front on wrong-side rows) and work the last stitch of every row in stockinette stitch.
When working from the chart, work the one stitch before the pattern repeat, then work pattern repeat to last 14 stitches, then work stitches outside of the pattern repeat to end of row.
When shaping the armholes and sleeve cap, do not work the p2tog or p3tog decreases if you are unable to work the corresponding yarn overs, instead keep stitches in pattern for the row you are working.
