Qui ne connait pas la tirelire classique! Eh bien voici un modèle tricoté en forme de chaussette.

Cette super chouette tirelire peut être tricotée avec un reste (15 à 20g) de laine en 4-ply ou fingering. Vous pouvez aussi rajouter un fil à coudre à votre laine pour éviter que la chaussette ne s’étire trop avec le poids des pièces récoltées.

La construction est une construction classique de modèle de chaussette en toe-up, c’est-à-dire en commençant par la pointe et en finissant par la tige. Les instructions sont écrites pour une aiguille circulaire en utilisant la méthode du “magic loop”.

Pourquoi pas tricoter deux chaussettes en taille jeune enfant pour offrir non seulement la tirelire (remplie par les gentils dons de la famille, des amis, des collèges, etc.) mais aussi la deuxième en cadeau de naissance pour que bébé puisse les utiliser plus tard.

You can use your beloved leftovers to knit it, as you will need only 15-20g of yarn. If you want to reinforce your wool yarn, you can held your yarn double with a sewing thread.

It is knitted with a tight gauge from toe-up and the heel is easy to knit. You can, of course, knit a pair of socks in toddler or young child size with this pattern, as it is written for a 48 sts sock.

Why not to knit two of them for a birth present, one as a savings sock (after collecting a lot of coins from relatives, friends, colleagues, etc.), and the second one, so that the baby can wear them later as a toddler;)
