Looking for an easy to knit shawl that is a bit different? Then this pattern is for you! This shawl can be knit in any yarn, any gauge and to any size. Especially suitable for yarns with long color graduations for the main color, or to show off handspun yarns.

Savina is worked from the top down in garter stitch (no purling!). The shape results from increasing in specific places (no short rows!). In each row you work with one color only. For the color changes, the yarns are never cut but caried allong on the edge (not a ton of ends to weave in!).

For a shoulderette size in sock yarn, you’ll need 100g of the main color and 50g of the contrast color.

Auf der Suche nach einem einfach zu strickenden Tuch das ein wenig anders ist? Dann ist diese Anleitung für dich! Dieses Tuch kann aus jedem Garn, mit jeder Maschenprobe und zu einer beliebigen Größe gestrickt werden. Es ist besonders geeignet für Garne mit einem längeren Farbverlauf für die Hauptfarbe, oder auch für handgesponnene Garne.

Das Tuch wird von oben gestrickt im Krausmuster (keine linken Maschen!). Die Form wird durch Zunahmen erreicht (keine verkürzten Reihen!). In jeder Reihe wird mit nur einer Farbe gearbeitet. Beim Farbwechsel wird der Faden nicht abgeschnitten sondern am Rand mitgeführt (kaum Enden zum Einweben!).

Für ein Schultertuch aus Sockenwolle benötigt man 100g in bunt und 50g in der Kontrastfarbe.
