Saunders Poncho Mini
This adorable garment is the mini version of our original Saunders Poncho, which means both you and your little one can now match! With cables and the textural goodness of moss stitch, it is the perfect classic throw-over for when the weather gets chilly. Recommended for children ages 4–10 years.
SIZES
Small/Medium (S/M), suggested for ages 4–7 years
Width: 70cm (27 ½“)
Length: cropped–40cm (16”), or full length–50cm (20”)
Medium/Large (M/L), suggested for ages 7–10 years
Width: 100cm (40”)
Length: cropped–40cm (16”), or full length–50cm (20”)
To choose a size, measure across the back of the child’s shoulders to see how each width will fit, from one of the child’s arms to the other when they’re both raised and lowered. This can help to decide where you prefer the edges of the poncho to sit. To choose the length, measure from the top of the child’s shoulders down over their bust and stomach. Note that because of the poncho’s rectangular shape, there will end up being additional length where the corners fall when the arms are lowered.
Sample shown in S/M cropped version modelled on Jade and Juliet, twins age 4, and M/L full length version modelled on Ella, age 9. The poncho’s sizing is flexible to last over time with varied style.
FIRE WARNING: For the safety of children, care must be taken in a potential fire environment if your child’s handknit is loose fitting. This poncho is not suitable to be used as sleepwear.
YARN
Adagio Mills Alpaca 8ply (100% Alpaca; 95m {104yds}/50g), pictured in colourways Concerto (S/M sample) and Sonata (M/L sample)

S/M full length version: 12 balls/600g– 1140m/1248yds
