SARAS FELTED SOCKS are knitted in a combination of multi- and unicoloured yarn, using leftovers or colours of your choice. I have decorated Sara’s socks with a heart mid back - but u can use them as they are, without decor, as well.

YARN
Viking Naturgarn 100 % wool, 1 skein = 50 g = about 55 yd / 50 m
7 (8) 8 (9) 10 skeins in colors of your choice.
I’ve used leftovers from different blue / lilac multicolors (ex 624, 629, 669 and 675) - in combination with royal blue 624
If you replace the yarn, make sure it is not superwashed - then it will not felt.

HOW TO
The socks are knitted top down.
Before felting they are huge - but felting in the machine leaves them chunky and warm, in the size of your choice.
If they are to big after one machine wash, you can repeat washing them until they are the size you need.
