For me, a blanket is a perfect gift for both newborns and adults. There is something soothing in wrapping yourself in a soft and cozy blanket. The blanket is worked flat with a repeating lace pattern and moss stitch border.
The pattern is suitable for beginners.

Materials
DK weight yarn 50 g (1.76 oz) = 110 m (120 yd), 50% Merino Wool, 50% Cotton
Yardage: 165 (645, 660) 1135 (1805) m/ 180 (705, 720) 1240 (1975) yd

Needle: 4 mm (US 6) or size needed to meet the gauge.
A tapestry needle, 2 markers and a row counter are recommended.

For the model in the photo Cotton Merino, Drops was used in off white color (uni colour 01).
