Most often used in Chianti, Sangiovese is a lovely red grape varietal with a light fruity taste. The beautiful Estonian stitch patterns used in this shawl transport me back to an idyllic “high flying sky day,” riding my bicycle through vineyards. -Romi

This pattern featuring Estonian stitch patterns is worked from a start at the bottom point of the top triangle. That triangle is bound off at top and then stitches are picked up around the triangle in the yarnover increases (makes it simple to get the correct number of stitches) and knitted down to bind off. The edging chart with nupps is repeatable to make this shawl easily resizable.
