Shells n’ seaglass
Line the sandshore

Waves roar towards me
Then curl up n’ hide

Above seagulls hovering
White blends in blue sky

Sandshore is a seamless cardigan worked from the top down. A clean mesh lace forms an intersection down the back, set slightly asymmetrically for interest. The Kestrel knits up quickly and is a smooth, dry summer yarn. It’s my new favorite!

This cardigan was inspired by a poem my mother wrote to my father when they were younger.

7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18 skeins of Kestrel: 532 608, 684, 760, 836, 988, 1064, 1140, 1292, 1368 yds/486, 556, 625, 695, 764, 903, 973, 1042, 1181, 1251 m Please purchase additional yarn if you plan to lengthen the sleeves.

There is a stitch count error for size 6. After doing the original raglan increase rows, total stitches will be 276.
The mistake is in the total for each front panel.
The stitch total after you separate sleeves is correct in the pattern-164.
