Sandhurst Circle
This pattern was exclusive to Seattle Yarn for the Puget Sound LYS Tour from August 13th-22nd.
This cozy, breezy accessory combines towering double treble crochets with half double crochets worked in a combination of ways to create a richly textured fabric. Simple shaping drapes easily around your shoulders. Worked in one, two or even multiple colours, the possibilities for this accessory are endless!
This pattern has been professionally tech-edited by Janine Mudge of Capital Crochet.
Materials:
• DK weight yarn (see table of page 3 for yardage)
→ I used Indigodragonfly DK Matter, 100% superwash merino wool, 280 yds/100g. Main colour (MC) is “Bait is Enough” blue colourway and Contrast colour (CC) is “Claw and Order” orange colourway.
• 4 mm (G) crochet hook, or size needed to make gauge
Gauge: After blocking, your swatch should match the following measurements: 18 st and Rows 1-9 in pattern = 4” (10 cm)
Sizing: 6 sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), to fit bust sizes 28-36” (34-42”, 40-48”, 46-54”, 52-60”, 58-66”)
Yardage needed: MC: 320 (371, 514, 571, 685, 750) yards /293 (339, 470, 522, 626, 686) meters; CC: 310 (357, 494, 549, 659, 720) yards /280 (326, 452, 502, 603, 658) meters
A note about yarn/yardage: Indigodragonfly DK Matter skeins are often generous in weight/yardage - the designer used only 1 skein of each colour for the size small. However, the yardage listed above should be your guide when choosing how much yarn you need.
