Sand Tracks is a straight scarf knit with a central Asymmetrical cable and textured side panels.

The pattern is written for one width with the length adjustable depending on your preference and available yarn.

It works equally well with 4 ply/fingering held double or an 8 ply/DK weight yarn which results in a fabric with a little more drape, though this could also be achieved by altering the gauge which is not critical to this project.

The pattern instructions are written out in full, with a chart for the cable if that is your preference. Both the chart and the written instructions have a set up row for the cable.

This pattern is suitable for an adventurous beginner as there is no shaping.

The pattern has been successfully test knit including by a left handed (mirror knitter) who has her cables reversed because of this.
