These socks were inspired by the stitch pattern that looks like the winged maple seeds, called Samara. I then searched for the perfect yarn to use to highlight the stitches. The yarn used was specially dyed with this design in mind.

The socks are worked toe-up with a short row heel and finished with a ribbed cuff.
