Salzer Pouf
Its a new year and a great time for a stash-buster! This fun and functional pouf is perfect to sit back and relax with while you use up all that extra yarn you’ve been hanging onto.
The Salzer Pouf pattern come with two size options, small and large. There’s also two striping options. One option is to plan and use three colors that blend well together (shown in size small) or you can use up all that worsted weight yarn you’ve been stashing away for a funky colorful pouf (shown in size large).
Stuffing options!
Small: about 3 lbs of fiber fill
Large: about 6 lbs of fiber fill
There are several stuffing options for these poufs. You can use blankets, old bean bag chairs, or all that yarn you want to hide from your husband ;)
Sizes
Small (large): Approx. 15 (19)“ when stuffed
Yarn
Worsted weight yarn approx.
Approx. 1600 (2100) total yards
For stripe option 1 approx. 533 (700) yards of each color.
Small sample was made with Sprightly Acrylic Worsted in colors Silver Grey, Denim and Charcoal Heather.
Large sample was made with random colors of Sprightly Acrylic Worsted.
Hook
H/5mm hook (or hook to obtain gauge)
Skill
Easy.
You will need to know how to chain, single crochet, spike single crochet (instruction included), and work flat. Pattern is written in US terms, basic stitch knowledge is assumed.
