You will need:

• One 100g skein of Springvale DK by Three Irish Girls in Narwhalicorn or other DK-weight yard, 250 yds
• darning needle
• scissors
• 4.25 mm (G) crochet hook If you are a looser crocheter, feel free to go down a hook size or two, and if you are a tighter crocheter, feel free to go up a hook size or two. Use a hook 2 sizes larger than the one you will be using to chain, as it helps keep the work from twisting and getting taut.

This is a “rippling shell” pattern, which can be found in Dora Ohrenstein’s Crochet Every Way Stitch Dictionary.

The chain is done in a 10x + 6 multiple.
