The sweater Salik is worked top down on circular needles with a stranded pattern on
the yoke and a smaller one at cuffs and hem. The yoke is divided into front, back and
sleeves. All parts are worked in the round, top down on a circular needle.
Pay attention: When you knit top down, the sweater turns upside down (imagine
making a head stand). With that in mind, the right and left sleeves switch places.
In the pattern, right and left, e.g. for the sleeves, are used as if you would wear the
sweater.

n this pattern, the Italian cast on and bind off are used, as well as German short
rows.
