Sakura Socks
The Sakura Socks were originally designed for The Crochet Accessories Club and are now available as an individual PDF download. These top-down socks combine classic construction with a romantic, lacy stitch pattern that is as fun to make as it is to wear.
Design Features
Construction: Top-down. Starting with a side-to-side ribbed cuff, followed by rounds for the leg and foot.
Heel & Toe: Features a traditional heel flap, a turned heel, and a gusset for an anatomical fit. The toe is worked in continuous rounds and finished with a neat seam.
Stitch Pattern: Alternating rounds of half treble crochet and a textured lace repeat.
Negative Ease: Designed with minimal negative ease in the width and more in the length to ensure a snug, comfortable fit.
