SAKURA Knot Bag

SAKURA is inspired by the Cherry Blossoms which were in full bloom here in Australia. When you think of Cherry Blossom, Japan comes to mind and so this project was born, and conceptualized as the Japanese Knot Bag.
An oval base with SC stitches is worked and the bag is built from the base, in the round. The Flowers are incorporated into the pattern and are worked around the Stitches. This bag allows for hands free comfort and works well as a Project Bag.
This pattern is a TRIBUTE to my MOTHER who has been a source of inspiration and encouragement in many ways.
