ENGLISH

Sakayuki is a cardigan that is knitted from the top down, seamlessly. It has a cross stitch pattern on the front, the back and the sleeves are in stockinette stitch. You start by casting on the stitches for the neckline and work a few rows of 1/1 ribbing. Then the raglan yoke is shaped with som short rows and increases. You continue by putting the stitches of the sleeves on hold and knit the body.
The sleeves are then knitted in the round.
Finally, stitches are picked up along the fronts to knit the button bands.

FRANCAIS

Sakayuki est un cardigan qui se tricote du haut vers le bas, sans coutures. Il présente un motif de mailles croisées sur le devant, le dos et les manches sont en jersey endroit. On commence par monter les mailles pour l’encolure et on réalise quelques rangs de côtes 1/1. Ensuite, l’empiècement raglan est mis en forme avec quelques rangs raccourcis et des augmentations. On continue en mettant en attente les mailles des manches et on tricote le corps.
Les manches sont ensuite tricotées en rond.
Enfin, des mailles sont relevées le long des devant pour tricoter les bandes de boutonnage.
