SAILING BOATS is comfortable and soft, made in our Merry O superwash merino and silk, just pure heaven to touch and wear. SAILING BOATS can be dressed-up for twilight, just a little something to throw over when the darkness descends and the air becomes chilly, or to wear mooching about your home. Uncomplicated and effortless to make, worked in one piece with an added button band. SAILING BOATS can be worn with buttons on the side as a contemporary poncho, or with buttons down the front as a cape.

ENJOY!
Bestest of wishes

4mm 80cm circular needles (worked forwards and backwards, for main body), 3.5mm needles (for collar)

FINISHED SIZE (washed and dried): width 132cm, length (from hem to hem) 138cm

ABBREVIATIONS
k: knit | p: purl | R: Row | st(s): stitch(es)
RS / WS: right-side / wrong-side
stocking st: k one row, p next row
yo: yarn over. Starting at front of work pass yarn over needle to back. If st before the yo was a knit st, first bring yarn to front underneath needle. When you reach this yo on the next round, work it as directed. This should create a hole.
k2tog/p2tog: k2/p2 sts together as one
Cable cast-on method: k between two sts on left-hand needle, pull yarn through to make a loop and place back onto left-hand needle, repeat this sequence until required sts are cast-on.
