Gauge: 17 sts in 10cm/ 4in stockinette stitch. Row gauge is not important for this pattern, as all the measurements are given in both centimeters and inches. Only the stitch count matters!

This balaclava is knit all flat. There is no knitting in the round at all.

You will need: up to 200g Aran yarn, knitting needles to obtain the gauge (for knitting flat), two stitch markers, five buttons, a darning needle, matching thread, and a sewing needle.
The pattern is available in three sizes: in teen/size s, adult m/l, and adult xl.
