This pattern is a redo of an old favorite, the Avery Vest. I’ve had requests for a heavier gauge, and here it is!

I also remembered why I designed this flat, not in the round. It is worked flat to fit the pattern repeats into small sizes, and because many knitters have gauge problems when switching from working in the round to working in rows.

It’s a very short seam! If you are experienced and want to adapt it for knitting in the round, that’s do-able, of course.
